1. Waseda University High-Tech Research Center Project in TWIns

The organization of this development project involves the establishment of the following two groups to interweave in such a way as to facilitate the mutually collaborative implementation of consolidated Medical/Science/Engineering research activities in Tokyo Women's Medical University-Waseda University joint institution for Advanced Biomedical Sciences (TWIns).

  1. "Advanced Medical/Science/Engineering Researches based on Systemic Life Science"
  2. "Consolidated Medical/Science/Engineering Researches aimed at Disease Elucidation, Diagnosis and Treatment"

2. Consolidated Research Institute for Advanced Science and Medical Care, Waseda University (ASMeW)

The Consolidated Research Institute for Advanced Science and Medical Care(ASMeW)was organized in June 2004 when Waseda became the first private university to join the Super COE Program. ASMeW was founded to reform the university system of scientific research and education. ASMeW organized a center for researchers with different expertise to work on consolidated research that paves the way for future medical care.
